Tire information

The tire size is usually indicated in the following format: 205/55 R16 96 V XL:

205 – Tire width in millimeters
55 – Aspect ratio (profile height as a percentage of width)
R – Radial construction
16 – Rim diameter in inches
96 – Load index, i.e., the maximum load (kg) allowed for one tire
V – Speed index, i.e., the maximum permitted speed (km/h) for the tire
XL – Tire with increased load capacity (eXtra Load)

OWL – With outlined white lettering (Outline White Lettering)
RF – Reinforced tire (ReinForced); RF=XL NB! not C (Cargo)
XL – Tire with increased load capacity (eXtra Load); XL=RF
RFT – Run-flat tire
CS – Self-sealing/puncture-resistant tire
SSR – Run-flat tire
Run-Flat – Run-flat tire
ROF – Run-flat tire
SUV – Sport Utility Vehicle
